Original Ideas

My music magazine’s genre is going to be teen chart music along the lines of Top of the Pops and We love pop magazines, my colour scheme is going to be bright colours such as pink, purple, blue and yellow, it’s going to have a kind of fun feel as its for teens, my target audience is around 13-17 year olds, an middle teen market which means the advertisers will include things that people of that age range have or go for e.g. Converse, Dr. Dre, Starbucks and New Look. My magazine will be more for female but males could read it’s therefore I’ll have to try not to be too feminine with the font and feature articles but teen colours can look quite girly so that might be hard. I am going to use my younger sister Daisy as my cover star as she is around that age so she is perfect for my magazine, I am going to dress her up so she doesn’t look too young and have her as a new ‘breakthrough’ star.
